Set Up Your Organization
In this tutorial, we’ll switch from your personal account to a new Organization workspace and invite a teammate. By the end, you’ll have a team workspace with a pending invite waiting for someone to accept.
You’ll need a Content Studio account. If you don’t have one yet, start with Create your account. Anyone can create an organization — it doesn’t depend on your personal plan. The organization itself will need its own plan (Creator or higher, separate from your personal plan) before it’s usable.
1. Open the workspace switcher
Section titled “1. Open the workspace switcher”From your dashboard, find the workspace switcher — it currently shows Personal — and click it.
2. Create an organization
Section titled “2. Create an organization”- Click Create organization.
- Give your organization a name.
- Confirm to create it.
You’re switched into your new organization workspace. Notice the switcher now shows your organization’s name instead of Personal — projects, credits, and glossaries here are shared with your team rather than kept to yourself.
3. Invite a teammate
Section titled “3. Invite a teammate”- Go to your organization’s Members (or Team) page.
- Click Invite member.
- Enter your teammate’s email address.
- Choose their role: Admin or Member. (You’re the Owner.)
- Click Send invitation.
4. See the pending invite
Section titled “4. See the pending invite”Back on the members page, notice your teammate now appears in the list marked Pending — they haven’t accepted yet, but the invite is sent and waiting for them.
That’s your visible result: a team workspace, with a teammate invited and waiting to join.
What’s next
Section titled “What’s next”- Invite and manage team members
- Organization roles and permissions
- Personal accounts vs. organizations
- Choose a plan and manage billing — your organization needs its own plan, separate from your personal plan, before it’s usable, and that plan determines how many teammates you can add
